Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

Commentary

The fragment contains lists of offerings, including various cereal varieties and legumes, and cultic paraphernalia. The verbal forms attested in fragmentary context in lines 1′ and 3′ show that the inventory includes festival descriptions.

13′: This occurrence of laḫḫura- has not be considered in the discussion of CHD, HED and EDHIL; if the reading DAG instead of GAL of the copy is correct, it witnesses to a connection with cultic “thrones.”
